Description
All About Abundance & Gratitude
New - Mixed Media Painting
The buffalo represents abundance and gratitude. Without the buffalo, native peoples might have perished, for it provided food, shelter, clothing, and tools.
In the 1800’s the US Government killed thousands of head of buffalo in hopes of eliminating Indians by destroying their source of food & shelter. The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is working to revive the yvnnash (buffalo) with their own herd in Tvshka Homma.
