For Whom are You

New - Message Tile

Buffalo were vital to Native Americans as they provided food, shelter, clothing, tools, bedding and other essentials. As a spirit animal or totem, the buffalo is known for abundance, gratitude and community.

This beautiful tile is handmade by rolling out a slab of stoneware clay, and cutting to size. When leather hard, the tile is covered with three layers of black under glaze. The chosen word or phrase is outlined in pencil, and clay is carefully carved away to reveal the message blowing in the wind. Other images are carved and it is fired to 1987 degrees. Then a clear glaze is applied and it’s fired again, this time to 2167 degrees. The end result resembles scratch board or wood cuts.

You get to decide

The tile can be set in the lid of an elegant keepsake box with glossy black finish and a kitten-soft velvet interior. Put a little something sparkly inside and you will be the hero!

Or how about

Having it mounted in a beautiful black frame. The frame can be hung on the wall or used as a trivet on the counter.

Either way

It’s the perfect gift for your sweetheart, a graduate, bride, or mom. Everyone can use a reminder to be grateful – even you.
